Editorial Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Our credibility depends on the trustworthiness of every listing. This policy describes how content enters the directory, how it is checked, and how we handle errors.

Where Listings Come From

  • Announcements published by governments, universities, international organizations, and other program operators on their own websites and official channels.
  • Curated submissions from partners and from the public, which are treated as leads until reviewed.

We never invent programs, funding amounts, deadlines, or application links. Every listing must trace back to a real source before it appears in the directory.

Verification Statuses

Each listing carries a verification state, shown on the page itself:

  • Verified: an editor or an automated check has recently confirmed that the source page exists and matches the key fields (title, organizer, deadline, application route).
  • Pending review: newly ingested or recently changed content that has not completed a check. Treat details as provisional.
  • Unverified: content we could not confirm against a live source. These listings are candidates for correction or removal.

Editorial Independence

Listings are ranked and displayed based on relevance, recency, and data quality — not on payments or partnerships. If we ever feature sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled as such. We do not accept payment to change a verification status.

Corrections and Removals

Program information changes constantly. If you find an error, or you represent an organization and a listed program is outdated, misattributed, or should be taken down, contact us via the contact page with the listing link and the correct source URL. We aim to action valid correction requests within a reasonable period and err on the side of the program operator.

Re-Verification Cycle

Listings approaching or past their deadline are re-checked automatically and flagged for editorial review when the source page disappears or changes materially. Expired opportunities remain accessible for reference but are demoted in discovery surfaces.
